Hi all, I'm Sharlene and I am the founder and director of Hand in Hand Support Options.  I began my career as a support worker working across the lifespan both at home and in the community.

 

I am now a qualified Developmental Educator and registered Behaviour Support Practitioner and have worked in the sector for over 10 years. I have worked across agencies and large organisations and decided to create Hand in Hand Support Options as a space where people were at the centre of their care and weren't just surviving, but thriving.

I really enjoy supporting people to gain the skills to become more independent and to build a better quality of life. I specialise in emotional regulation, budgeting and money management, life planning and the development of daily living skills. I have always lived by the motto "do with, not for" and really try to hold this at the centre of the services I provide.

I love being outdoors and active, I play netball and have a special spot for animals (particularly reptiles)! I also have 2 children who are my life force and challenge me to be a better person every single day.
